Christ Has Promised Us An Advocate

Christ was sent by God to accomplish an extremely critical mission. The main purpose of that mission was to create a way through which humanity can be brought back to God and inherit eternal life. Glory to God, it was a mission that was fulfilled successfully and victoriously when He willingly gave His life and came back to life after three days.

God is More Pleased by Faith rather than Only Obedience

“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6).

Faith is greatly exemplified in Hebrews Chapter 11, where it shows people of the Old Testament being blessed for exercising their faith. Nevertheless, before the Book provides the list for being faithful, God also warns us that most crucial part of the life of a Christian is faith, and God is not pleased with the person who lacks it.

We Are Commanded By God To Be Holy

"But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy" (1 Peter 1:15 - 16).

Today people are willing to debate how a Christian should behave. This is something that has never happened in the past 2,000 years since Calvary. Instead, the way that a person was to live a pure, holy life was simply assumed.

In Your Life Which Priority Do You Give Prayer?

“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”  (Mark 11:24).

Some time ago, I was asked by pastors to rate from the most to the least important, what they felt were their responsibilities and duties to be performed. Number one on the list of all pastors was prayer. They were then asked to revise their ranking by the amount of time spent on the items on their list. To great surprise, the amount of time devoted to prayer was at the bottom of the list.

The Trinity Provides All Your Needs

Many people across the globe who are not true believers in Jesus Christ present the argument that all religions and belief systems are the same, including Christianity. They object to any creed, stating that religion has started conflicts of every kind, including major wars. Yet, Communism, which espouses no belief in any kind of deity, is responsible for numerous deaths since its inception.

Good Ambassadorship Brings Glory To God

“A wicked messenger falleth into mischief: but a faithful ambassador is health” (Proverbs 13:17).

“So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!”” (II Corinthians 5:20).

For Americans who wish to serve abroad, ambassador is one of the most highly sought after positions.  This position is commonly handed out based on political favors to the president or to the political party that the president belongs to.  Although our sinful nature can corrupt the appointment of ambassadors by placing people in these positions who lack the proper qualifications, there are a number of reasons why people who show loyalty to the president are appointed.

God's Words Last Forever

Modern day young Christians are offered numerous ways to learn God's word. More often than not, the so-called religious teachers cast doubt on the truthfulness and authority of the Lord's word. When an individual finds salvation, it is easy to make him think that the Bible is God's word and that the scriptures are unquestionable. Naturally, this assumption makes a great deal of sense, as it was God's word that helped him in his hour of need and following the pathway of the Lord restored him. If Gods word was untrustworthy, then how else was he saved?
